Sembradores: historias de nuestra tierra

Abstract

Colombia es uno de los países más biodiversos del mundo. Las tradiciones del campo y las dinámicas de la tierra han sido representativas en la cultura e idiosincrasia a través del tiempo. Sin embargo, el valor del campo se ha dejado de lado por la gran variedad de problemáticas presentes en el país, los procesos de globalización ligados a los TLC y el desplazamiento de los entornos rurales a urbanos. Sembradores se planteó como una serie documental con el propósito de identificar cómo podemos trabajar y sacar provecho de la tierra, capturando el paso a paso de la siembra y el arduo trabajo en el cuidado de la misma, aprendiendo cuándo es la mejor temporada de cosecha, a dónde va el producto después de ser recogido y el proceso de distribución que termina llegando a todos los hogares. Con la intención de enfatizar en aquellos productos que son representativos de la región, dándole visibilidad y un reconocimiento al trabajo en el campo por el desarrollo y el aporte que genera para la economía del país de manera colectiva.

Colombia is one of the most biodiverse countries in the world. The traditions of the countryside and the dynamics of the land have been representative of the culture and idiosyncrasy over time. However, the value of the countryside has been neglected due to the great variety of problems present in the country, the globalization processes linked to the FTAs and the displacement of rural to urban environments. Sowers was conceived as a documentary series with the purpose of identifying how we can work and take advantage of the land, capturing the step by step of planting and the hard work in caring for it, learning when the best season is of harvest, where the product goes after being picked and the distribution process that ends up reaching all homes. With the intention of emphasizing those products that are representative of the region, giving visibility and recognition to work in the field for development and the contribution it generates for the country's economy collectively.
