Sempiterno

Abstract

Sempiterno significa siempre eterno, como eterno es el plástico, una cualidad que lo hace muy requerido por la industria y el consumo masivo, pero este es también el mayor problema. Por ello, esta cualidad ha desatado una crisis ambiental en el mundo entero, principalmente en las aguas, tanto fluviales como marítimas. En vista de esta situación quisimos investigar a qué nivel esta problemática también está impactando los ecosistemas colombianos y, por supuesto, ponerla en evidencia a partir de un documental de tipo expositivo- reflexivo. Es claro que Colombia es un campo de estudio demasiado extenso, por ello escogimos como objeto de estudio las ciudades de Bogotá, Cartagena y Santa Marta. Sin embargo, también hemos querido contrastar esta situación con la labor que adelantan algunas fundaciones que trabajan en pro de la conservación del medio ambiente y ayudan a mitigar el impacto del plástico. Por un lado, reutilizándolo y, por otro lado, adelantando campañas de recolección y reciclaje.
